New Jersey Nets Tickets

Beginning on New York’s Long Island, the Nets were aptly named to rhyme the Mets and Jets. The Long Island basketball continued to apply for membership in the National Basketball League; finally granted their wish, the Nets began play as a NBA franchise. Shortly after, the New York Knicks complained that they were the New York NBA team. The Nets were forced to relocate to New Jersey. The team has played at the Izod Center in East Rutherford and currently plays at the Prudential Center in Newark. No matter what arena, city or state, the Nets compete in the Atlantic division and the Eastern conference. With powerful players including Nate Archibald, Julius “Dr. J” Erving, Jason Kidd and Vince Carter, the New Jersey Nets have conquered their opponents in five division title wins, two conference title wins and two league championships. Also, as Brooklyn-native Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter owns a portion of the team, there is a risk of the Nets basketball team returning to its home on Long Island.
