The show begins with Sophie, a young girl writing out her wedding invitations. She wants to invite her father, but she has never met him. Reading her mother’s diary brings her three potential options for a father. When the three men arrive on the island, tension rises between the three men who once loved Sophie’s mom, Donna. The story unfolds as the wedding guests prepare for the wedding. Donna debates which man was her best match. Sophie debates where her marriage is the right step.
