The New Jersey Devils have appeared in 17 of 19 consecutive playoff championship games. This makes them formidable enough according to their opponents, but the team also acquired three Stanley Cups, four conference championships and seven division titles. The Garden State hockey team is named after the legend of the Jersey Devil, a cryptozoological creature inhabiting South Jersey. The team has known to attempt new forms of play including defense-first and a run-and-gun game. Through this everchanging hockey game, the team displayed great talent through their players including Sergei Starikov, Alexei Kasatonov, Bobby Holik, Scott Niedermayer, Scott Gomez, Ken Daneyko and Scott Stevens. The team takes the ice at the Prudential Center in Newark competing in the Atlantic division within the Eastern conference. Cheer on the Devils to victory!
