Known for their tradition, the Cincinnati Reds began their baseball-playing days with red socks, and that continues today. The name began as Red Stockings and has adapted to Redlegs, Big Red Machine and their team name, Reds. The Cincinnati baseball team began as the first professional team. They proceed with professional Major League baseball in the Central division of the National League where they have racked up five World Series titles, ten league pennants and eight division titles. Today, the Reds are considered a dynasty after their 1981 best baseball record in the league. With players like Pete Rose, Ted Kluszewski and Buck Ewing, the Reds will persist as a power play.
