Princeton, an English-major, graduated from college and is now struggling to make a life for himself that brings purpose to his life. Kate Monster has a purpose but fails to achieve it. These two characters along with neighbors Trekkie Monster, Christmas Eve, Rod, Nicky and Gary Coleman all share views of love, disappointment, careers, racism, and homosexuality. The Bad Idea Bears walk onto the stage at the right moment to create more dramatic irony. Enjoy the songs “It Sucks to Be Me” and “I Wish I Could Go Back to College” as you watch the action on the slightly less sunny side of the street.
