In 1925, five teams joined the professional football organization in America. Today, only one remains: the New York Giants. With the conflict of the baseball Giants now in San Francisco, the team has also taken on the moniker, New York Football Giants. This is appropriately chosen with their logo of a larger-than-life quarterback initiating a throw pass while towering over its stadium. The team plays at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey which sparks a heated debate regarding which state the Giants should call home. For this reason, the team is sometimes called Jersey Giants and Jints. Nevertheless, the team remains in the East division of the NFC defending their six league championships three of which involved Super Bowl wins including the 2008 Super Bowl where the Giants upset the undefeated Patriots.
